The Puwar
The nameless… that is what they call them. A tight knit race with an incredible thirst for blood, destined to bring destruction, and forever wage war with others.
The Puwar are a tight knit race. The members of the race are named only by the Clan they belong to, thus, someone born under the clan called “Vastrip” will carry that as their first and only name, for all their time on earth.
There are many peculiarities to the Puwar race. They have a very complex system of castes and rules to abide by, as well as a twisted sense of honor and righteousness.
To begin telling about this race, one must begin by physical traits. The Puwar’s most prominent feature is their pointy ears. Elvin like, if you so wish to call them, for it is the closest way a human has to describe them.
They are all born with pitch black hair and either golden or purple eyes; those with golden eyes are regarded of a higher caste, and thus more powerful, than those with purple eyes.
It is truth that follows that belief; the genetics of a well trained golden eyed youth will always be far more war inclined than those of a dark eyed Puwar; and no matter how much this latter will practice, it will ever be as physically nor magicaly strong as a golden eyed Puwar.
Among those, there are male and females- and quite occasionally, a genderless creature will be born. These are usually regarded of an even higher cast than those with a gender.
The Puwar are also quite inclined to war. They are all born with an insatiable thirst for blood and extraordinaire abilities -hysical and magical- to accompany it.
When it comes to deciding matters of leadership, it is not the Puwar lineage that gives them the rights to become the next leader at their father’s passing… instead, it is their killings and conquests that are counted for his rank. Living by the most basic rule of all: You keep what you kill.
Because of this, if Clan A was to kill the leader of Clan B, clan A could either lay claim and merge with clan B (thus turning it in a sub-clan, usually regarded as a “sister clan”, and changing only one letter of the new name), or it could wipe clan B out entirely from existence.
Although sister clans rarely wage war among each other, it is not rare to see other Puwar clans fighting each other for land, power or otherwise.
.
The Puwar are only found scattered throughout India, and have never left their country of origin. Their violence turns into a strangely good manner to keep their population low enough not to be a threat to anyone who does not seek them out.

The Heart of the Forest
Deep in every forest lies a magical place where fantastical beings are still free to roam the world and live their lives without the threat of humans. But sometimes, in some places, such spots of magic are threatened.
As the humans reproduce, requiring more and more space and thus destroying more of the wild life of the forest in order to build their homes and maintain their people, more of these magical places are being discovered.
But next to every human discovery, there usually follows destruction. A fear of the unknown compels them to rid the forest of innocent creatures; creatures that were more in tune and truly able to live along with nature, without damaging it the way humans do.
Thus was the luck of more than one race of magical beings, who are now almost entirely wiped away thanks to human fear.
But not all such fantastical creatures are innocent and peaceful. Some are truly worse than humans- when provoked. And some, only some, are truly hunters by nature.
Among such surviving specimens, some still seek out refugee even deeper in the forest. Others, have the luck to be taken in by other creatures, or even kinder humans. Some very few, stronger willed ones, actually manage to disguise themselves and pass as another human, until their existence among them is threatened again…

The Council of the Seven
A silent war, subtle, relentless, fought by pawns that do not even know they are fighting it; led by few who keep their secrets tight… inside the Council.
In Heaven, like in Hell, there is a Council of Seven.
Seven angels and seven demons that make most decisions in Heaven and Hell respectively. All angels and all demons must report to these Councils, and all angels and all demons receive orders only from them. They are a filter to God and The Devil, the only ones that have direct contact with them.
Those angels are the seven strongest, fastest, and smartest of them all; and they are usually very very old.
The story I will tell now pertains to Heaven’s Council.
When one of the council members was growing weary, the council and God himself started looking for an angel that would be able to replace him. The suggestion that this same angel’s son had all the necessary skills to take his father position. For long, he was trained as he grew with the sole intention to replace his father in his place at the Council.
But destiny would not have it so, for even for Angels it is uncertain. When a halfling son -a half demon, half angel child- was born to the man, a very strong child as well, the Council and God saw it as an opportunity to maintain a proper liaison with Hell.
The first child did not see well to this, and in his heart started to grow hate. As years went by, and he saw himself threatened to truly be replaced for impure blood on what he now felt was his rightful place, the child lied, deceived, and went to unspeakable lengths to assure his position as heir to the Council would not be questioned.
In the end, many halflings and “sinners” suffered, so the first child could retain his position.
Amidst this mess, God seemed to have simply disappeared. The Council had been so busy with things going on, that even they did not realize until they needed to consult him that God had simply vanished.
Unable to find him, the Council was left to the mercy of the first child…
In Hell, news spread fast about Gods disappearance. The banished halflings returned to earth, one of them seeking to find the truth behind God’s disappearance, and his current whereabouts, to be able to restore Heaven to it’s previous balance.

Of The Myst
A mysterious race, ghastly, that has perplexed humanity for ages. Feared and deemed to bring bad luck, yet still some try to capture them for their own gain.
.
The Jalad (formery known as Rhaighs) are a sort of ghastly race. No one knows exactly when they came to be or how, but if you were to ask a Jalad, they would say they are even older than humanity, and older than time itself.
There are many traits that give away a Jalad. They are pale, yet extremely beautiful creatures that can acquire a human appearance when needed, however, if you were to touch one, you would feel their skin is cold and soft as porcelain. They are so pale that sometimes, during full moons, it is said their skin glows. Their eyes are always light in color, and almost always look foggy; one would be likely to think they can not truly see- at least not as humans see.
Night creatures, the Jalad prefer to come out during the evening and night, but nothing truly stops them if they were to wish a mid-day stroll. They do not eat or drink human food; instead, they food of the light of the moon.
A Jalad will attract fireflies, so if you see fireflies gathering around a person, it is said to be certain the one will be a Jalad.
But the most characteristic trait of a Jalad is their power. Such power that gave them the reputation they have now of being no other than ghosts.
A Jalad’s power relies on a very simple fact: They can turn into a foggy mist. An almost transparent smoke capable of filtering through the smallest cracks, so much so that those who have seen a Jalad go through a crack would say they can actually go through anything.
If need be, a Jalad in its mist form can fully disappear from sight, but still be there.
A legend about their powers has it that if you inhale a Jalad while it is in smoke form, it will take over your mind and body, and be able to control you. If it is true or not remains to be seen.
Another legend says seeing a Jalad means you will die shortly after. This particular legend is wrongful, as the Jalad truly have nothing to do with death, nor are they ghost of deceased people.
There are also certain personality traits to the Jalad… but for this, you may first learn there are two type of Jalad:
The Jalad of the forest do not like humans. They are shy and will disappear as soon as spotted. Little is then known of them for certain- are they the same as the rest of their kin?
No one knows.
The Jalad of the cities, often found living among humans, are known to be deceptive- deceiving and conceited. Their survival in fact depends of them spreading the myths and legends that make them more than what they are, thus scaring people from trying to approach them if discovered.
The older Jalad are often seen in this group. They are usually called “The Rememberer” by the youngest generations. They are the ones who claim to remember how humans invaded their space with no regards for them, and thus some hold a cold hatred for humans.
The Jalad are also very lonesome, they rather not have a lot of company, so the most Jalad that are ever seen on a same zone is up to six. Forest Jalad may stand even less of them around.
Everything a Jalad is, is that foggy misty, that smoke. Everything from their houses, their clothes, and their human forms are nothing but mist solidifying into temporary shapes and reflecting colors. They could change forms into anything they wished to, human, animal, or otherwise.
A Jalad has no true set shape other than the floating mist. Because of this, a Jalad has no true gender, but can opt for one when taking a human form.
A Jalad will reproduce asexually. A piece of their misty body will part from the rest, creating a new being with their own memories, but its own personality.
Jalad do not die as a human would think, but they can get to disappear fully a cease existing, either by will alone, or for lack of proper exposure to the moon for a very prolongued time.
